Boy Scout Camping
Hiawatha Seaway Council, BSA
Located in Adirondack Park of Upstate New York, the Adirondack Scout Camps consist of two camps that offer a summer program "to remember" -- far away from city lights and noises. These camps are well attended every year. At Sabattis Scout Reservation and at the James "Marmaduke" Seton Trek Center we offer so many program opportunities that your Scouts won't be able to do everything during their stay.

Sabattis Scout Reservation
One of our camps is Sabattis Scout Reservation. Named after Mitchell Sabattis, it is located on over 2,000 acres in the heart of the Adirondack Park. It offers the premier wilderness camping experience in the northeast United States. Sabattis is a traditional full featured patrol cooking camp with immediate access to 1,000,000+ acres of state land for hiking and canoeing. For this year we will offer 2 weeks of dining hall style food options for a limited number of campers. An aerial view of the camp near the bottom of the camp history shows the camp area. Sabattis is also the home of the Hiawatha Seaway Family Camp.
James "Marmaduke" Seton Trek Center
The James "Marmaduke" Seton Trek Center, located at Sabattis, offers true high adventure opportunities. We are ready to fully equip your canoe or backpacking trip with canoes, tents, PFD's, food, guides, stoves and fuel. If high adventure is calling to your older Scouts, let them answer it at the James "Marmaduke" Seton Trek Center.
