General Information

Upon arrival please stop by the main office to check in and out.

Family campers will not have any access to program areas of the main camp this summer - family camp can be used as an overnight when delivering and picking up scouts from camp, or as a base camp to visit the area sights for families while their scouts are in camp, but we do not have sufficient staff to run program for family campers. It should also be used as an area for staff families visiting their employed family members during the camp season.

If adult parents wish to participate in the camp program, they should sign up as additional adults on the unit roster. Teen girls, 13+ and having completed 8th grade, should be in the main camp areas as registered venturers.

In addition to program areas, families will not be able to eat with their campers except at the Camp wide Bar-B-Ques on Saturdays and Fridays and that will need to be by advance reservation only to ensure they prepare adequate food. These reservations should be made no later than 1 week before the meal (for families who are traveling to drop off or pick up their scouts).

  • Do not bring Firearms of any kind into Sabattis Scout Reservation.
  • There are also NO electrical appliances or alcoholic beverages.

You will have to bring your own sleeping gear, food, cooking equipment and eating utensils.

Medical Personnel are in camp 24 hours a day. The main Health Lodge or the Camp Office can be reached if you need medical assistance. It is strongly recommended that a medical form be filled out and on file with the Health Lodge for each participant.
